Exwater UK Ltd have been invited to speak at the SBWWI
(Society of British Water and Waste Water Industries)
Leakage Seminar being held at Warick University (Coventry)
13 - 14th November 2007

We are due to speak on the morning of 14th and our presentation is designed around our company motto "adding insite to build on your experience" to better explain how we Project Manage with particular emphasis on the successful redesign of Torquay DMAs.

Presentation on Leakage and Demand Mgmt

Leakage management continues to be a dynamic and ongoing process in controlling demand and reducing water losses to acceptable levels. With changing weather patterns and droughts in part of the country leakage control and management continues to be prominent on the regulatory and political agenda.

Exwater UK Ltd has worked closely with South West Water delivering projects to tackle specific areas of leakage management. This presentation by Simon Harris from Exwater Uk Ltd and Mark Baker (SWW Regional Leakage Manager) covered the work that has been undertaken to successfully tackle leakage levels in South West Water. Giving more detail on the ongoing challenges faced by the water industry to stay on top of leakage control, and the importance of engaging all stakeholders in this process.
